These are the two companies that many people rely on when abroad. There are other smaller companies that provide services also. Most people however will use one of the two big companies; Geico and AIG.

While both of the international car insurance companies are close in service and cost, people might just want to call each company to directly compare prices and services. When dealing with international auto insurance, the main goal is to make sure that a person is genuinely covered from the country they will be in. Both of these companies have a long history of helping Americans over seas.
