Lasik Laser Surgery is Proven Safe by the FDA

Lasik or laser in situ keratomileusis means "to shape the cornea within using a laser". Lasik laser procedure will be done with first a microkeratome to create a corneal flap. After the flap is created the corneal thickness will be measured. After surgery it is important that you do not touch or rub your eye. Some symptoms that you may notice are light sensitivity, glare, haze or halos all of these will improve over a few days.

Vision may continue to improve over three to six months. In few cases there are complications as with dry eyes, optical halos or haze, and in rare cases regression in vision. There are no cases of blindness related to Lasik laser surgery.
