It took only five months for Katie Holmes, the twenty seven year old actress to return to her normal shape from the bulky body that she had during pregnancy. The reports say that she was ballooned to the size of a small house during the last days of her pregnancy. She took hardly five months to retain her lost shape after her first child birth.

The strict diet and rigorous regular work out are said to be the secrets for her fast recovery from baby weight. She regularly attended the gym along with her personal trainer these days. It says that this regular exercise and weight sessions made her look more toned up and attractive than before.

The reports say that she was following a very hectic and rigorous exercise schedule that is specially designed to shed the excess body weight that she had gained during her pregnancy. It is the weight sessions that helped her more to tone up the muscles and to get back to her normal shape.

Along with this, regular breast feeding to her daughter also has helped her to accelerate the process of getting back to her normal self. Just three weeks maternity leave also helped her to retain her shape as fast as any other person can do.

Not only the exercise but also the strict diet that Katie Holmes had followed after child birth had helped her a lot in her mission to regain the lost body shape. According to the persons close to Katie Holmes, she was very keen to get back to her normal self and to her regular activities as soon as she could. And they say that for this reason she was very much strict about her diet prescribed by her trainer that was specially designed to shed those extra pounds that she had gained during her pregnancy.

It says that Katie Holmes was following a very strict diet by cutting off all the fats from the food to regain her shape. She was taking only healthy foods and vitamin water during the post child birth period.

Not only the diet and exercise but her obsession towards a wonderful physique to get admired by all also helped her to complete this hard to achieve task. It is this will power that actually helped her to shed the excess weight from her body.

Katie Holmes just ran in the New York City Marathon! None of the other runners knew that a celebrity was amongst them, disguised in a navy blue cap.

They only realized she was there when Tom Cruise ran up to congratulate her for completing the run. Katie has been under intense training to lose her baby weight!

It has really paid off because shes got her fine figure back already. She looks great and complimented her new body with a slimming haircut.
