Want to be forever young? The most important thing you must take care of is your body weight. And to have a control over your weight you need to burn your calories rapidly and enhance the metabolic rate of the body. Once your metabolism is geared the extra pounds will automatically drop down.

Most of us consider weight control to be diet control. But for your kind information you are partially correct if you think so. Diet is definitely a major concern to regulate your weight. But if you keep yourself starving for the sake of loosing pounds you ultimately become a patient of low pressure and malnutrition. Controlling your metabolic rate through a balanced diet and activities like exercises and gym are effective means to keep yourself fit and healthy.

Regular regimen to boost metabolism

A diet with low calories must include fiber-rich food and necessary proteins. The amount of carbohydrates and fats has to be minimized. How can you shape such a diet? Take a look.

You can relish on green salad with enough of broccoli, cabbage and carrots. This will also fulfill the mineral requirement of your body. Have oatmeal an egg daily but avoid the yolk. The white portion is almost fatless but will provide your body with the necessary amount of protein. Avoid the animal butter but you can always have the natural peanut butter.

Try to use sugar free in your tea and coffee. Fruit is healthy but excess amount of fruit juice is not recommended when you really intent to put off your pounds. Fibrous fruits are most welcomed.

Pay attention to eating pattern

Eat less but for more times. This helps to keep the metabolic factor steady. If you remain without food for the whole day and the end of the day you just grab on anything you come across and think that you are on diet; you are actually befooling yourself.

Pay more attention to the routine of diet you follow rather than the diet chart. Have small amount of food from time to time. At an interval of two to three hours each and every individual must eat something. You must not confuse that you are being asked to have meals every time.

What are the benefits if you can make it a habit? This actually doesn't allow you to crave for hunger. Again it keeps your metabolism steady and the chances of fat deposition in the tissues are bare minimum.

Thus don't just concentrate on your diet but also give equal focus on your dieting schedule. Is it okay?
