Shake Up Your Sex Routine - Some Hot Tips

Sometimes, particularly for people in a long-term committed relationship, bedroom time can get pretty predictable. If your life revolves around routines, up at a certain hour, kids off to school, work, dinner at six, chances are your nightime routines follow a pattern too, and you will end up in bed around the same time every night.

Routines can help anyone. If you always know what you've accomplished and what you need to next, you will have fewer surprises, like discovering that you have no clean socks while dressing for work, or having no idea what to fix for dinner when its already half past four. Good routines are the stuff of simple, organized living.

But too much routine in the bedroom can quickly become more of the "same old, same old" and send you straight into a rut. Don't let your sex life start to feel like just one more thing to be checked off a to-do list.

1. Start with something new. If you always start out with kissing, surprise your partner by initiating oral sex first, as if you simply can't wait. Or if oral sex is what revs you up for more, try spending time kissing first, or concentrating on another part of your partners body that you generally don't give much attention to, like the neck, or the inner thigh. Don't let your partner be able to predict what you will do or where you will kiss next.

2.Sacrifice other routines, now and then. If you are always in bed by 10 or 11, lure your partner between the sheets at 8, when possible. You will have more time to go slow (or not!) and explore each other while you are less sleepy.

3.Do the unexpected. If you usually only make love at night, wake up your partner with kisses and touches designed to arouse. If you usually make love completely naked, trying wearing something sexy instead. Don't let your partner strip or put on pajamas all alone, lend a helping hand. Being undressed by your lover is sexy, especially if it rarely happens.

4. Change your scenery: Do you only make love when in bed? Try sex standing up. When you have the house to yourselves, make love on the living room couch, in the den, or have sex in a chair.

5.Keep your mind open: Great tips for varying your sex life can come from anywhere, so set yourself up to be receptive to new ideas and ways of connecting with your partner.

As busy as our lives can be today, you might wonder who has time to think about these things, let alone do them! Don't worry, you don't have to come up with something new every day. Lets face it, the "same old, same old" can be part of what we love about our partner, and why were with them in the first place.

But sometimes a little variety is just what's needed to shake things up a bit and keep them interesting. With just a little forethought and willingness to try something new, you can nurture your relationship with your partner and keep your sex life sizzling.
