Forgive Me I'm Only Human!

To be human is to be vulnerable, weak, strong, loving, and able to live or die in a blink of a moment. The value of human individuals cannot be measured in this world. We are souls with a fleshly body, awaiting our eternal home.

As individuals we are made to interact with our families, our workplace, and our brothers and sisters in Christ. We are also made to be witnesses to the world. The scriptures state that we are aliens in this world.

As educators, we are the lights of the world to children in the realm of learning and real-life spiritual examples of the reflection of Christ in the workplace. If we look at this question in light of God's will for our lives--it gives us a better reality.

The human social world we life in is a picture of flexible morality, easy living, a lust for riches and glory, and in the world itself--it's a constant battle of good and evil. The broader natural world is full of sin, yet it strives for whatever it can get, obtain, and have.

In creation, we are the rulers of this universe, made to rule, yet with an awesome responsibility to serve our fellow man and become upright citizens. As individuals we need our space, yet crave some time with social beings, and the bio-spherical world around us controls the very nature around us.

In God's will we are made to take care of this wonderful earth he has provided for us, and those he has graciously placed in our lives.

Our destinies await us. I believe I was created to go to the classroom and instruct children, and to become a wonderful father someday soon. Am I going anywhere that would harm me? I don't believe so. However, sometimes I look at the amount of stress in the lives of humans, and it is hard not to look at the challenges more than the positive outcomes of life.

We need to constantly be moving towards better organization and time management. Why? Jesus said it best when he said: "Make the most of the time--for the days are evil." Loving others, for me, is a big goal and fulfillment in my life.

For example, my nephews, aged three and five, are a ministry in my life, and I count it a joy to help them grow spiritually and morally. In the long run, I believe that learning how to care for my family and minister to them as a father and husband will be beneficial, as well as constantly pursuing improved instruction in my classroom, and attending as many district and school in-services as humanly possible.

The meaning of life for me is: "Live like Christ, and dominate the enemy." I am very energetic and outgoing, and I love to minister to the deep concerns of others, not necessarily just personally--but always spiritually. I was made to help people come to the Lord, and stay close to Him.

I can continue to live a self-controlled, loving, and spiritually sound life. As a public school teacher, I will ultimately be affecting the lives of hundreds, if not thousands, of people. I believe I need to accept the good, moral, and positive friends that God has provided, and to minister to those who have just come to know the Lord in genuine salvation.

Education has a huge role in shaping the promise of our country's future. The reason I voted for George W. Bush in this election is primarily due to the fact that I believe he is a better example of character to the kids, than his opponent, John Kerry. Our schools, as a whole, should be a reflection of morals.

Too many times, though, we hear on the news all the bad things that are happening in the public schools. Shame on the media. Shame on us for not getting the word out about all the progress students are making in our schools, both public and private. It's time to share the good.

When you think about your life, think not about all the sins you have done. Think about all the good things you have done, and remind yourself that with the help of your maker, you can do anything you set your mind too, including walk on the moon, if that's your goal. Never limit yourself.

Quote scriptures aloud to yourself during the day. That simple habit can change your life. They call it the Bible for one reason. It really stands for Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. It'll help you. You can count on it.
